Qatar Airways to Resume Flights to Qassim, Saudi Arabia

Qatar Airways is set to resume services to its fifth destination Qassim in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with three weekly flights starting on August 22. The airline will then increase to four weekly flights departing from Doha to Qassim from September 2, 2022.

The airline is also set to introduce an additional four weekly flights to Riyadh starting on August 18, 2022, bringing the total service to 20 weekly flights to the capital to meet the growing travel demand.

Currently, Qatar Airways operates 93 weekly flights to four major cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The addition of Qassim and the four additional flights to Riyadh will increase the number of weekly flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to 101 flights.

As the country will be hosting the 2022 World Cup in Doha, the airline had originally planned to reduce services to better prepare for the much-anticipated football game and to better cater to its passengers; but what better way to start preparing than now?

Passengers flying from and to Qassim will enjoy seamless connectivity to over 150 destinations, as the Middle East begins to open its network on a more frequent and regular basis without disruptions- flights to Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas via one of the World’s Best Airport, Hamad International Airport will be with ease.

The multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways, was announced as the Airline of the Year at the 2021 World Airline Awards, managed by the international air transport rating organisation, Skytrax. It had also been named ‘World’s Best Business Class, ‘World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge’, ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’, ‘World’s Best Business Class Onboard Catering and, ‘World’s Best Business Class Airline Seat’.
